PortaDAP Basic

The PortaDAP Basic is ideal if you need a cost effective and low maintenance audioguide. The Basic has been specially designed for sites where there is minimal handling and storage space. It is a keypad operated audioguide which runs on long life AA disposable batteries. Replacement wands can be provided within the maintenance agreement.

The Basic can be "ruggedised” to adapt to all weathers, making it an ideal choice for external sites such as Stone Henge and Cheddar Gorge. The Basic requires no charging rack which makes it ideal for places with few staff or for those who prefer a self-service option.

Information is stored on a memory within the wand so there are no moving parts and, using MP3 compression technology, the Basic offers superb sound quality. The memory capacity of the wand is eighteen hours or more and several languages or tours can be stored at the same time. The guide can be used with hearing loops or headsets.

InfoDAP

The InfoDAP is a simplified version of the PortaDAP basic. It is designed to be an infomation point mounted at a fixed location with or without a tether, it has a simplified keypad which allows visitors to choose from a number of fixed linear messages.
